NOVEMBER 9, 2018

The release of the 2020 Pathway to Excellence and Pathway to Excellence in Long-Term Care Application Manual is scheduled for February 2020. This is a revision of both the 2016 Pathway to Excellence and 2017 Pathway to Excellence in Long-Term Care Application manuals. The requirements for both designations will be included in this one manual.  There will be some new concepts, however, much of the 2020 manual will remain similar to the current versions.  Organizations applying or re-applying for either designation are required to write to the new elements of performance in the 2020 manual beginning with the February 1, 2021 cycle.

Please note, Pathway will be seeking public comment on the upcoming manual prior to publication, approximately September 2019.  Be sure to provide your valuable feedback during this time to ensure you are heard.

Let's all welcome Pathway's new Senior Analyst, Jennifer Hargreaves!!!

Jennifer has an extensive background in managing enterprise implementations of healthcare policies and procedures in the areas of Nursing and Education. She has also exceled in operationalizing and evaluating comprehensive teaching programs for specific patient populations while coordinating delivery of health services within community hospital settings. A visionary nursing leader both at the state and national level, as Past President for Delaware Organization of Nurse Leaders (DONL), Jennifer developed a strategic plan for revenue generation, membership enhancement, and participation.  She is able to establish rapport and engage people in relevant processes, and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Pathway has already had the wonderful opportunity to experience her effective (and joyful!) engagement strategies at the last Pathway Conference where she most recently served as the Education Program Specialist for the ANA Product Development & CE Department.
